Your tomorrow looks bright at Ubiquity.Your Role:Job ResponsibilitiesContribute to the evolving architecture & engineering of reliable and scalable infrastructure.Support and maintenance of data center, office and transient networks and associated equipment.Daily hands-on interaction with systems, cloud, telephony engineers with support and projects.Identify network weaknesses and propose/implement improvements.Design and implement automation.Resolve unexpected issues in real time.Help ensure delivery of projects on time and on budgetWork outside of standard business hours as needed (i.e. scheduled firmware updates)Act as the network specialist for key project implementations revolving around network engineering.Provide level-4 network escalation support and maintenance.Collaborate with other Support Groups and Support Engineers to identify high priority issues and engage the Service Delivery and Quality teams.Proactively ensure the highest levels of infrastructure availability.Proactively analyze existing infrastructure and networks with a view to recommending performance and efficiency improvements and enhancementsPerform ongoing assessments, audits, and health checksCreate, Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures and documentation in online tools (Changes, Validation docs, systems proposals/recommendation, etc).Skills and QualificationsHands-on experience in the area of network and telecommunications engineering including OSPF, BGP routing protocols, IPSec & GRE VPN tunnels, network segmentation (using Juniper & Avaya), Firewall (Juniper-SRX) and VOIP routing is a must.Expertise on Python coding language is a must for automation purposesMust have at least 5 years hands on experienceThorough understanding of operating systems Junos and ERS.Experience in performing maintenance tasks on Juniper High availability environmentKnowledge of industry standard network monitoring tools as Nagios, Icinga, Cacti, Grafana, Influx, logstash, Kibana, etcKnowledge of PCI standards and requirements.Experience in Network function virtualization.Strong problem solving and logic skills required.Willing to be flexible working on different shift schedules especially graveyard.You have excellent people skills at all levels.Strong English communication skills.Familiarity with ticketing systems, preferably Freshservice.Open to working in BGC, TaguigWhat we do.Recognized as the #1 CX provider for disruptors and innovators across financial services, healthcare, and e-commerce, Ubiquity was founded on the belief that our clients and their customers deserve better.
