We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours! The Opportunity The Adobe Experience Manager Sites extensibility team is looking for a sage front-end engineer who loves to address complexity with simplicity, who sees elegance in extensibility and composition, and who measures the quality of solutions by ease of use.If you like to think on a high level and at the same time enjoy working on the smallest implementation details and are passionate about just making things happen, if you dream about big goals but clearly see the next step to achieve them, and if you already have an experience of creating components or libraries used by other developers you would be a flawless match for this position and for our team.Together we will design, implement and bring to life new possibilities to customize and extend Adobe Experience Manager and integrate it with other platforms and services.What you'll DoKick off and accelerate the evolution of Adobe developer technologies by writing high-level technical proposals and advocating for them with peers, product managers, and organization leadersMaterialize your vision by designing and building front-end libraries, frameworks, and development toolingUnify the Adobe ecosystem by proposing Adobe products improvements for front-end extensibility and collaborate with multiple teams to implement themCollaborate with Adobe partners and customers to bring the newest solutions directly to usersEngage external developers by promoting solutions through blog posts, learning materials preparation, and conferencesWhat you need to succeed 5+ years of professional experience developing web applications, front-end frameworks, or librariesExcellent knowledge of JavaScript (browser and Node.js), HTML, CSSExpert knowledge of React and related librariesDeep understanding of build and development tools for front-endExperience in the development of enterprise software with multiple integrationsExperience in extending and customization of sophisticated softwareExperience with Adobe Experience Manager or Adobe Commerce is a huge advantageDesigning and implementing full-stack services is a plusExperience with microservices and distributed systems would be a nice additionOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $114,300 -- $223,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
