About this roleAdobe Japan R&D is a software globalization team member shipping the software to various regions. We are responsible for ensuring the quality to meet the Japanese market expectation as quality matters a lot in our market. We are seeking a Software Quality Engineer for Document Cloud/Adobe Sign service. You will work with the engineers in US and India to raise the quality issues to be addressed. You are expected to be a trusted advisor for the Japanese feature specifications. You also need to communicate proactively with the other functions in the Japan office to collect the requirements/concerns for the products/services. You will also need to work with the other QE members and Adobe Japan internal stakeholders to update a translation style guide and terminology database continuously. What is needed to succeedBS degree in Computer Science or equivalent with strong computer science fundamentalsReal passion for quality and localizationAbility to work independently, triage issues and take corrective actionExcellent knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and testing toolsExperience in developing test plan, assessing risk, filing appropriate defects, and providing relevant data for test reportingExperience testing of Web, iOS, Android, OS X, and Windows services and applicationsWilling to learn the 3rd party services as the product may involve 3rd party integration5+ years of software testing for web service and/or desktop, mobile productsJapanese language fluency (e.g., JLPT N1 level)Proficiency in communication in English both verbal and written (TOEIC 750 or above)Nice to haveknowledge about MicroserviceUnderstanding the software code Adobe is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and affirmative action employer.
