The Opportunity We are seeking an accomplished Revenue Systems Analyst to help Adobe maintain outstanding revenue systems and analytics. We partner across the company with key collaborators in Revenue Accounting Operations, FP&A, BU Product Marketing, Sales Operations and Technology Services to ensure accuracy and consistency of external and internal financial accounting and reporting data. We provide excellent services for measuring results and driving insights for our finance community.This individual has a significant role in analyzing revenue recognition contract information for the company in a timely and accurate manner. The position will be based in Lehi, UT.What you'll Do Provide process, system, and reporting solutions for evolving business challenges in the quote to cash arena.Draw on technical accounting background to craft and implement solutions that align with recognition and control principals and drive continual operational improvement.Lead governance, standardization, and automation to scale the business.Assess quarterly financial results and actively add to the accounting and finance close procedures.Build and maintain strong expertise in system knowledge and serve as a key resource for the Revenue Accounting and Operations team.Design and deliver relevant testing (User Acceptance Testing).Review contracts and customer pricing recommendations for revenue recognition compliance.Prepare contract summaries to highlight revenue recognition issues and non-standard terms.Partner with Legal, and the Operations teams on deal and price structuring to ensure that revenue is recognized in accordance with ASC 606 and the company’s revenue recognition policy.Be a high caliber professional and revenue specialist that is a liaison for contract issues with Finance, Operations, and Legal teams. Provide revenue recognition mentorship and training to such teams as the need arises.Work closely with various organizations throughout Adobe to standardize and scale revenue-generating contracts to meet company objectives for revenue recognition.Monitor contract approval process to align with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements.Prepare data and other support information as needed for audits and reviews conducted by external/internal auditors.Provide support and innovation ideas on key projects.What you need to succeed BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics2+ years of work experience. Software revenue recognition experience recommended.Good knowledge of technical application of ASC606 and all other current authoritative literature related to revenue recognition is recommended.Self-motivation with exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; ability to address complicated technical issues and develop and communicate thoughtful solutions.Experience with SFDC, SAP and Dynamics are preferred. Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, SnapLogic, Python, and Microsoft Power Platform are a plus. Experience with relational database systems preferred.Work collaboratively with teams from Finance/Accounting, Sales, Legal, the Business Units and Operations.Outstanding customer service focus.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $65,700 -- $139,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
