We are now expanding the team to include operational professionals dedicated to production monitoring and restoration of critical payment processes. We are seeking an experienced Payment Operations Manager to join our team and drive process improvements to ensure efficient payment operations.Responsibilities:Lead daily payment operations, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing while continuously improving efficiency.Supervise payment initiatives and trends to find opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.Conduct payment transaction research and troubleshooting to resolve issues promptly and minimize customer impact.Manage payment incidents to minimize disruptions, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.Ensure payment processes align with regulations and industry standards, implementing necessary changes for compliance.Develop and maintain up-to-date standard operating procedures (SOPs) for payment operations.Foster relationships with partners to ensure smooth payment processing and identify improvement opportunities.Handle payments and chargeback disputes to minimize financial impact and ensure timely resolutions.Manage payment release schedules to minimize downtime and maintain system availability.Lead problem and changeprocesses for timely resolution of payment-related issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on payment operations and initiatives.Develop and implement automation solutions to enhance payment processes and reduce manual effort.Lead product, project, and program initiatives related to payment operations, providing strategic guidance.Handle payment audit and risk processes to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risks.Manage user access administration processes for security and compliance.Be responsible for payment-related financial processes for accurate accounting and reporting.Lead network-related processes to ensure secure and reliable payment processing.Lead SRE/embedded SRE and DevOps processes for efficient and effective payment operations and service reliability.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.Demonstrated experience in payment operations, production engineering, or incident management in an enterprise-level payment-processing environment.Excellent understanding of payment processes, regulations, and industry standards, including various payment methods.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex payment issues.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical team members.Strong project management and process skills to drive improvements and implement automation.Proficiency in automation tools (PowerBI, Splunk, SQL) and DevOps methodologies.Familiarity with Jira, Wiki, and Microsoft Suite, with a quick learning interest in new tools and technologies.Experience leading cross-functional teams and building strong partnerships with external partners and vendors.Knowledge of audit ownership/management and payment risk management is a plus.Strong finance and accounting knowledge is a plus.Proficient in incident management tracking and systems (e.g., JIRA).Consistent track record of leading and deploying large programs to high availability, conducting incident post-mortem meetings for root cause analysis and corrective actions.Collaborative skills to lead through influence and drive opportunities through consensus cross-functionally.Ability to analyze large payment data sets, extract business insights, and recommend data-driven actions.Self-motivated with a high level of independence.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $85,200 -- $187,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
