We are looking for a senior engineer to help lead the development of an innovative data stack for Machine Learning (ML). You will work closely with dozens of ML engineers and scientists to help us build the next generation of AI powered document experiences.This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of documents at the place that invented PDF and build delightful products that touch hundreds of millions of users!WHAT YOU’LL DO: Design and build a data stack that scales to billions of documents to support training, evaluation, feedback, monitoring and all other phases of MLOps Help us pick the perfect mixture of Dask, Ray, Delta Lake, Data Bricks, AWS glue among many other amazing data technologies Work with all product and development teams to understand and meet their requirement, enabling the organization to scale by allowing each team and developer to build their solution on top of the core infra that you will help create Engage in the product lifecycle, design, deployment, and production operations Provide technical leadership in everything from architectural design and service technologies Continuously evaluate and adopt the best data technologies that are emerging continuouslyWHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: 8+ years of software industry experience with 5+ years shown experience building and maintaining high throughput, high availability services preferably for AI driven products Preferably a B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science. Fluency in practical data structures, algorithms, data modeling, distributed systems. Understanding of practices in designing software for making an AI product. Fluency in python and knowledge in at least one other typed language such as C++, Java or Rust Fluent in at least one deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Track record of designing and developing robust, scalable high impact cloud services. Shipped large and complex software preferably AI products in a commercial environment (start-ups a plus). Effective collaboration skills with engineering teams Strong desire for learning new technologiesADDITIONAL BONUS SKILLS: Experience as a Full Stack developer, including dash boarding Experience with DevOps#FireflyGenAIOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $141,100 -- $281,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
