The opportunityThe Assets & Sustainability Manager will develop, implement and supervise facilities asset management, reliability and maintenance engineering programs. Using plant engineering/facilities engineering best practices and internally developed processes, this position will achieve the objectives of improved building systems and campus infrastructure asset reliability. The position works to reduce the total cost of ownership, building systems downtime and overall repairs costs and to improve effectiveness of the team. This role interacts with all members of the facilities management organization, including senior management and field technicians. The A&S Manager leads our energy programs and helps achieve our ambitious environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals and targets. You will help lead and communicate energy and sustainability performance by tracking, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting metrics across the real estate portfolio. You will lead utility data management and related-improvement projects. Leading the Smart Workplace program via IOT, AI, machine learning and innovative technology will also be the scope of the role.What you'll doReview all plans for adding or upgrading new equipment and infrastructure improvements.Develop MEP standards for new facilities.Collaborate with applicable building management and operational staff while providing technical mentorship and leadership.Develop effective energy management policies and recommend changes in energy conservation applications.Monitor and analyze results of energy conservation projects.Work with and drive forward thinking strategies to site operations managers and engineers to ensure all equipment and systems are maintained to the highest level of efficiency practical. Drive strategy discussions, decisions and actions to assure that our maintenance programs complement and enable our site and business strategies.Lead all aspects of Adobe’s energy objectives, with the ultimate goal of developing and implementing strategies to reduce energy and related resource costs.Provide the vision, oversight and guidance for BMS and Energy Intelligence tools and ensure it is optimized by the engineering staff.Build risk mitigation strategies for critical facilities assets. Included are risk analysis, measuring probability and consequences of failures in a consistent manner, failure analysis and root cause analysis, defining what constitutes functional failure for a critical system or process utilization and load testing.Lead facilities condition assessments resulting in a Facilities Condition Index (or a comparable metric) to enable the development of project plans and maintenance optimization programs.Identify areas of vulnerability to the company and take the appropriate actions to reduce risk for Emergency Response, Crisis Management and Business Continuity.Lead sustainability initiatives within Workplace functions.Explore potential for smart workplace improvements and develop roadmap for implementation.What you need to succeedBachelor’s or master’s degree in subjects such as Engineering/Architecture and relevant experience of 15 years.Good story teller through presentations/dashboards.Highly collaborative with the ability to lead in matrixed environment.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $101,300 -- $205,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
