In this role, you will build tools to drive the extensibility and customization capabilities of the Adobe Commerce platform.What you'll do Design, develop, and implement sophisticated software solutions, ensuring the highest performance, scalability, and reliability.Lead technical design and architecture discussions, making critical decisions that drive the product direction.Collaborate with multi-functional teams throughout Adobe, including product managers, architects, and other specialists, to define product requirements and deliver innovative solutions.Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance, code reviews, and promoting standard methodologies in software development.Promote and practice Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.Engage in customer meetings, collect feedback, and provide technical expertise and mentorship to ensure customer satisfaction.What you need to succeed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.At least 7 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on TypeScript development.Ability to design and architect complex software systems that are scalable, modular, and extensible. Possess a deep understanding of software design principles, patterns, and architectural concepts.Strong expertise in TypeScript, including advanced language features, and design patterns.In-depth knowledge of JavaScript frameworks including React and Node.js, and the ability to write comprehensive test coverage using Javascript testing frameworks.Experience working with GraphQL and building GraphQL APIs for efficient data fetching and manipulation.Proficiency in working with databases including MySQL and DynamoDB, and implementing data models and efficient database queries.Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and agile software development methodologies.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $119,000 -- $232,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
