We're enabling everyone with a voice to craft something outstanding that captivates their audience.What you'll Do Collaborate seamlessly with researchers, engineers, user experience designers, and product managers to prototype and construct an innovative web application that defines the future of web experiences.Lead the way in solving intricate design challenges to deliver exceptional user experiences on the web and a diverse range of devices.Cultivate design thinking among development teams. Demonstrate your appreciation for design thinking to emphasize the creation of reusable code and consistent user experiences that empower engineers and designers to craft superior products.Engage in pair programming and peer reviews. Collaborate with fellow engineers on challenges spanning code intricacies, novel ideas, and innovative methodologies.Develop a responsive and scalable solution primed for a wide-reaching audience.Provide invaluable insights to enhance product usability. Apply analytics tools, user research, and our in-house community team to gather information and garner insights into how our product drives new ideas.What you need to succeed Over 7 years' demonstrated expertise in constructing and deploying web applications or interactive websites.A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, HCI, web design, or a related field.Proven mastery in building and architecting web apps that seamlessly function across various browsers, including mobile, where distinct performance, resource constraints, and capabilities necessitate polyfills.Established track record of delivering robust and intricate user interfaces, concurrently developing reusable code and consistent user experiences.Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and experience with ES6 as well as React, Vue, or equivalent UI frameworks.Profound knowledge of web technologies, encompassing the DOM, canvas and WebGL rendering, web security, asynchrony, workers, and performance optimization.A keen eye for visual and web design, coupled with a fervent passion for utilizing CSS and modern techniques to craft visually captivating and interactive experiences.Experience in guiding fellow developers and influencing a team's technical trajectory.Proficiency in implementing support for accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) and diverse input modalities and assistive technologies employed by users.Familiarity with contemporary web development tools and patterns, such as npm, webpack, etc.Nice to have:Knowledge of load optimization and cloud deployment strategies, complemented by CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with concepts such as functional programming, state management, and immutability.Experience with TypeScript and Sass.Proficiency in UX Design.Acquaintance with Agile/SCRUM development practices.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $146,400 -- $275,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
