DCX is a framework for the definition, fast synchronization, smart conflict resolution, and intelligent search, publishing, and remix of digital assets and cloud storage. DCX is one of the key technologies powering Adobe's Creative Cloud. Our team handles both client libraries and cloud services for synchronizing and managing cloud documents on cloud storage by inventing, crafting, implementing, testing, and optimizing features for client and service modules.A critical part of the job is helping application teams understand how to use the technology, investigating bugs, and maintaining code quality. We develop code in three languages: platform-independent C/C++, Java, and JavaScript. Adobe desktop and mobile applications use the C++ library and contain the most comprehensive and sophisticated functionality. The Java library supports services workflows, and the JavaScript library supports browser-based web clients. We also develop a cloud service called Composite Service, one of the important content services of Adobe Cloud Platform.What you'll doDevelop efficient, reliable, testable cross-platform code in C/C++, Java, or JavaScript.Develop cloud services to provide content CRUD functionality for millions of clients.Maintain code to address functional changes, language/library/OS updates, and bug fixes.Regularly review and tune test code to achieve a high standard of software quality, code coverage, and performance metrics.Develop example code illustrating standard methodology usage of our API’s and write and maintain documentation to enable internal clients to rapidly integrate our technology into Adobe's applications.Work with other Adobe teams advising on our technology, investigating bugs, and collaborating on providing new features.Work in a small, collaborative, highly productive, and high-output team environment.Participate in inventing technology that has an impact across Adobe, writing patents, and being active our internal community of software development professionals.Participate in Adobe's Firefly technology initiative integrating into DCX support for Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) workflows.What you need to succeedBachelor's or master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, or equivalent experience required0-1 + years of experience in relevant experienceProject and internship experience developing in C/C++, Java, or JavaScriptFirm computer science fundamentals, including design patterns, algorithms, asymptotic complexity, parallelism, and database schema design.Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills and direct experience with DevOps in a SaaS environment are a plus.Customer-focused and passionate about quality and engineering excellence at scale.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsWhen you join Adobe, you can look forward to collaborating with the most genuine people in the industry, working on projects with real purpose, and having immense pride in the products we create and the customers we support. The U.S. pay range for this position is $73,200 -- $142,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
