We need a new Senior Developer in part to assist in developing and executing on our One-Adobe Observability Strategy.If you enjoy having many different interesting tasks where it’s easy to draw a line from your efforts to real accomplishments, come talk to us.Job Requirements:12+ years production level experience with distributed applications at scale in public cloud (AWS and/or Azure)Experience architecting and implementing large scale Observability platformsB.S. degree in Computer Science or related technical fieldWork in a diverse and distributed team environment!Must HaveExperience with metric systems like Prometheus, CortexExperience with distributed tracing platforms like Tempo, Jaeger is helpful.Programming experience with Go, Python; Experience instrumenting code to emit metrics, traces and logs using Prometheus sdk or open telemetry sdk.Experience with Open-Source products/community like Open telemetryExperience architecting and designing systems for fault tolerance, scale-out approaches, and stability.Experience developing, deploying and running distributed applications on cloud platforms. Experience with container and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience creating solution architecture of large-scale Observability platforms.Ensure the highest level of up-time and Quality of Service (QoS) to Adobe’s customers through operational excellenceKnowledge in defining service level objectives (SLOs) and service level indicators (SLIs) to represent and measure service qualityKnowledge of (public and/or private) cloudCollaborate with SRE and Engineering/Product teams in driving critical initiatives.Work with Engineering partners to drive One-Adobe Observability StrategyExperience in designing and maintaining production monitoring systemsExperience in solving performance and stability issues using a wide variety of toolsMentor members of the staff on large scale Observability platforms.Exceptional communicator in and across teams, taking the leadImpacts the organization through contribution to technical direction and strategic decisions.Good to HaveKnowledge of Grafana is good to haveFamiliar with a variety of the cloud security and automation concepts, practices and procedures.Promote the DevOps/SRE approachOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $163,400 -- $302,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
