The OpportunityFirefly is the new family of creative generative AI models coming to Adobe products that offers a new way to conceptualize, build, and scale content. It’s a natural extension of the technology Adobe has produced over the past 40 years.At the core of Firefly, we as a team, use and create our commercially safe AI models trained on hundreds of millions of images owned or licensed by Adobe. We are hiring a senior software engineer role to help evolve these models and the associated prompt engine. This is an opportunity to reach millions of creatives, helping them recreate the way they work!What you'll DoUnderstand the client requirements and technical constraints for various customers and come up with solutions to streamline the software stack.Lead development and implementation of enterprise architecture and underlying dataflow.Build multi-tenant solutions to satisfy customer requirements.Develop custom generative AI solutions like “Train Your Own Model” using customer data.Design and lead the integration of generative AI enterprise features with content delivery mechanisms ranging from Adobe’s offerings to those used by the clients.Partner closely with the Firefly Enterprise PM team to negotiate the scope and requirements of final resultsEnsure the delivery of high quality, reliable, enterprise Firefly features staying in sync with the data protection/isolation requirements and privacy regulations.What you need to succeed10+ years of software engineering experience in Java as well as proficiency in NoSQL and SQL.Experience building for enterprise multi-tenancy, data isolation, content system integrations, metering and billing, etc. preferred.Experience with building tiered and entitlement-based technologies for multi-org enterprise customers preferred.Deep experience with RESTful web services.History of building micro-services in production environments on AWS and/or Azure.Strong understanding of in-memory caching (e.g., Redis and Memcached) and their relative merits.Experience testing a wide range of applications and services.Strong operational skills with deployment and monitoring tools such as Jenkins and Splunk.Outstanding teammate#FireflyGenAIOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $119,000 -- $232,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
