We hold an annual Dodgeball for Charity event at our Q2 Stadium in Austin, inviting other local companies to play, and community organizations we support to raise money and awareness together.The Job At-A-GlanceQ2 is currently seeking a Marketing Event Planner who will be responsible for the planning and execution of industry trade shows and Q2 hosted events. If you enjoy planning and logistics around events, have a creative side and enjoy strategy, and thrive in a collaborative environment, you'll likely feel right at home on this team.A Typical Day:Drive strategic tradeshow selection process & lead tradeshow planning, logistics, communication and measurementDetermine & maintain master tradeshow scheduleGather feedback from sales team on trade shows for consideration & develop effective trade show planManage the event or tradeshow budgetManage Q2 attendee & sponsorship registration and paymentsManage and oversee booth shipping/inventory via third party companyWork directly with venue to order booth furnishings/electricity/cleaningManage and lead event brief and debrief meetings & run of show scheduleOrder and maintain inventory of marketing collateral and give-away itemsLead and manage pre & post show attendee communications & listsDevelop and maintain tradeshow scorecards and additional follow-up itemsCore team planning member for the Q2 annual Client ConferencePlan & support annual Collaborate programsLead the research, idea generation, coordinating and measurement of other client and employee events as neededResponsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered toMaintain marketing inventory and storage areaDetermine & execute direct mail and e-mail campaigns related to eventsAttend meetings, tradeshows and conferences as plannedOrganize and host client and prospect visitsWork closely with other organizations within the company such as sales, solutions consulting, finance and productBring Your Passion, Do What You Love.
