The role will demand interaction with medium sized enterprises up to ‘C’ level, as well as with technical staff within the security and IT organisation. This individual will also work well with their team of sales engineers, as well as with partners and leverage the power of corporate resources within their account base.The successful candidate will be extremely results oriented and possess a good business acumen. Additionally, this person should have proven ability to build a robust business pipeline, accurately forecast and close business with good interpersonal and presentational skills.Your day-to-dayFocus on hunting and developing New Logo Accounts (cross vertical) up to 1000 UsersWorking with our primary UKI distributor to successfully secure opportunitiesIn this role you will focus on increasing market share of Proofpoint products through outbound telephone prospecting to commercial accounts within an assigned regionYou will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering web based and onsite product demosWork with Sales Engineers to prepare account strategies and plansPartner with the channel to drive incremental revenueFocus on hunting and developing new Proofpoint accounts in the SMB market spaceWhat You Bring To The TeamThis person should have proven ability to build pipeline, accurately forecast and close business with good interpersonal and presentational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to clearly and effectively articulate sales valueMust be organised, detail and process orientedAbility to coordinate Proofpoint resources to execute a complex sales strategyAbility to use a CRM (Ideally Salesforce) and other on-line tools effectivelyDegree educated or equivalent preferredPreferably previous inside sales experience in related field.
