The Role and the TeamWe are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our fast-paced, high performing team. This individual will be an integral part of the Procurement team and support Procurement in the Corporate IT and Data Center categories and category teams. The person will be proficient in negotiations, contracting (both process and commercial language), vendor management and driving cost savings.Job RequirementsLead supplier sourcing projects, RFP’s, negotiations, and vendor management across the Engineering category. Drive the implementation of strategic agreements for procurement of Indirect and direct products and services..Collaborate with key functional and internal stakeholders to capture business requirements and create the appropriate sourcing strategy for new and current businesses. Develop and implement strategic sourcing framework with a focus on cost, mitigating risk, and supplier performance management.Engage with Executive Management, stakeholders, and peers regularly.Execute agreements/contracts, understanding of terms/SLAs, addendums, etc.Support business owners in navigating downstream processes such as working with legal through the contracting process and Finance to ensure accurate allocation of costs and timely payment of suppliers.Support the execution of spend management projects that accomplish key objectives.
