It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.Reporting directly to the EVP of Global Operations, IT, and Customer Success, the VP of Information Technology leads a world-wide team that designs, manages, and supports the corporate infrastructure of Proofpoint, and supports our employees and contractors to ensure that the infrastructure meets and grows in line with the company. As the “face of IT,” this role is a key member of the leadership team, as you will be communicating on behalf of the organization as part of your regular responsibilities.Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the help desk, corporate email, network, and data center, and system administration, your team handles all incoming employee technical support requests.  You will ensure that business critical systems have high availability, redundancy, and support by implementing monitoring programs to perform internal and external 24/7 monitoring and incident tracking. Responsible for annual IT planning and quarterly QBRs.You will lead security and compliance initiatives to safeguard user identity, endpoint devices, network services, infrastructure, as well as data protection.  As needed, you will ensured IT complies with regulations such as SOX, SOC, FedRamp, GDPR and other customer security requirements. You will evangelize ‘People centric security at Proofpoint,’ and implement our suite of products to protect our customer data and our employees.You will build and maintain strong partnerships with Facilities to ensure that we are able to support location moves, expansions, turn ups and shut downs. You will work closely with the Finance department and provide detailed annual budget projections and quarterly true-up and adjustments.You will implement employee growth plans to engage with our team members and help them grow their career at Proofpoint, focusing on retaining top talent.Requirements:Minimum of 5-7 years of increasing responsibility managing technical teams supporting global, highly-available technology stacksExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSuccessful experience leading diverse teams, with a passion for employee development and growthAdept at diffusing emotionally charged situations and handling escalationsPast experience instituting a data-driven approach to automation, process improvement, staffing models, and live versus on-call coverage modelsSkilled collaboratorAble to switch focus, prioritize on the fly, and knowledge of when to de-prioritize work in motionExperience with M&A activitiesComfortable with shared ownership initiatives#LI-KE1If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
