You will create best-in-class partnerships that give advertisers the planning, activation and measurement tools required to effectively shift TV spend to programmatic. Responsibilities include ownership of a global CTV data strategy, development of new partnerships and solutions, strategic partner management, exploration of expansion opportunities, and ownership of commercial negotiations. The ideal candidate has experience developing global roadmaps, closing and leading strategic partnerships, and building high-performing teams. They should have deep expertise in the ad tech and TV-buying ecosystems, especially around advertising measurement. What you do:Partner with Product and Commercial teams to develop a CTV data strategy and roadmapLead and build a team focused on global CTV data solutions and partnershipsDevelop new relationships across the global CTV data ecosystem with a focus on measurementManage strategic partnerships to maximize their value and success in working with TTDDrive optimal relationship structure for partnerships in conjunction with Product, BD, Legal, Finance and other internal stakeholdersMaintain regular communications and checkpoints with management and with partners to report on status and future opportunitiesWork with commercial teams to evangelize, educate and grow the use of partner offeringsFacilitate communication internally and externally related to partnerships (demands, strategies, roadmaps, operational requirements, etc.)Support sales enablement efforts related to the partnership and overall CTV strategy, with both internal team and with TTD clientsIdentify partnership opportunities; collect feedback on existing/potential utilization from commercial teamsQualifications:10+ years experience creating and building differentiated relationships with linear TV and/or CTV partners, ideally to develop data solutions that help advertisers shift their TV buying strategies to programmaticTrack record of building and leading high-performing teamsExperience with strategic partner managementExperience with contracts and vendor negotiationsExperience in digital media required; Familiarity with the adtech landscape & data companies highly preferredProven communication, questioning and listening skills in formal and informal settingsComfort with fast-paced, dynamic working environment with shifting prioritiesAbility to build excellent rapport with internal (Legal, Technical, Finance, Product) and external stakeholders; strong teamwork is a mustMust be comfortable with complexity and thinking on multiple levels of abstraction; demonstrated use of critical thinking techniquesOur Compensation and Benefits ( for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $215,300 -$394,700In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
