We value the unique experiences and perspectives that each person brings to The Trade Desk, and we are committed to fostering inclusive spaces where everyone can bring their authentic selves to work every day.So, if you are talented, driven, creative, and eager to join a dynamic, globally-connected team, then we want to talk!What you’ll do:As a brand strategist, you will join our in-house creative department to develop strategies for marketing efforts to keep the brand culturally relevant and responsive to industry happenings.  Develop brand strategies, write creative briefs, guide development of the creative work. Work with a range of business and marketing teams in the inception, development and execution of marketing efforts that strategically aligns to business priorities. Mine industry research to address business issues, gain insight into target audiences and deliver relevant creative work. Ensure that creative work is on strategy and delivers on project and brand goals.Work collaboratively with marketing, creative and production partners.Work with leadership to provide thought leadership and industry insight and expertise.Who you are:We are looking for a strategic thinker with 6-8+ years of experience in the media, advertising technology or technology journalism space.Have your finger on the pulse of the ad tech space and the broader media industry. Talent for abstract thinking, spotting trends and patterns, an innate curiosity and insight into human behavior and an instinct for popular culture. Experience working closely with a range of stakeholders in the creation of creative campaigns and/or editorial content.Self-starter with ability to work independently and drive projects forward. Highly collaborative and able to work in a fast growth, entrepreneurial environment.Innate storyteller with strong writing skills.Mix of left/ right brain—able to drive creative ideas/ solutions and analytical content.BA/BS required.#LI-DP1Our Compensation and Benefits ( for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range.  The base salary range for this role is $83,000 -$152,100In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.  The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location.  All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions.  Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.  Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
