This includes working closely with internal stakeholders across our business including Sales, Business Development, Client Services, Billing/Revenue, Legal and HR to understand their unique requirements. We value and develop strong leadership, asking our PMs to take on ambitious and often ambiguous projects that promise to extend our lead in the industry.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:You will be responsible for building and leading a team of Product Managers capable of scaling with the Trade Desk internal systems through a period of continued high-growth including both internally designed and developed as well as integration of 3rd party solutions like Salesforce and Workday. You’ll be setting team culture, working with PM’s to define key metrics, investment prioritization, filling gaps including attracting and hiring top-tier talent and drive the bigger mission forward by translating vision into results. As a manager/leader you’ll be mentoring PM’s inside and outside your team.In addition to building a leading team of product managers, you’ll be personally driving the vision and strategy for Sales, Business Development and Client Services business units who heavily rely on Salesforce. You’ll apply your experience with Salesforce to increase productivity, predict sales revenue and forecasting, improve customer visibility, and optimize opportunity pipelines.WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:A track record for leading product management teams focused on improving the enterprise:· 10+ years of experience as a Product Manager working in a technology-heavy role, including defining the strategy and roadmap for the products you built.· 7+ years of people management experience leading teams to deliver technical programs or products from inception to delivery.· Deep/broad experience of CRM platforms such as Salesforce with hands-on experience building solutions· Experience of going through a full product cycle, from crafting well researched product roadmaps and prioritization to launch and post launch execution· Experience working and influencing effectively cross-functionally and building relationships across teams, including with people outside the direct reporting chain and senior executives· Ability to translate business needs to technology teams.· A proven track record of partnering with engineering teams to solve complex, ambiguous problems and delivering large and impactful software projects.· Excellent communication skills including the confidence to participate in conversations with key business stakeholders, the ability to drive consensus and commitment, and the ability to crisply communicate delivery timelines, trade-offs and risks to senior management.· Durability and grit -- sometimes solutions take creative thinking, multiple iterations and staging while dependencies solidify.#LI-CP1Our Compensation and Benefits (for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range.  The base salary range for this role is $133,700 -$245,100In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.  The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location.  All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.  Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
