The Compensation Operations Analyst will work with all members of the global business organization, addressing questions relating to compensation and preparing various analyses. Ultimately, this individual will be responsible for reviewing, summarizing, and proposing changes to compensation plans across The Trade Desk’s teams, while simultaneously building strong relationships and serving as the primary contact point for all things compensation.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Manage internal employee account assignments and rates to ensure alignment of performance and compensation schemesPrepare detailed monthly and quarterly analyses that explain employees’ variance from compensation targetsServe as direct contact for all internal teams to guide, analyze, and explain questions relating to compensation and bonusesReview and respond to internal Jira tickets, following up as necessary, and resolving or escalating when appropriateCreate executive-ready summaries of key findings and proposed changes to rates and compensation plansCommunicate extensively with business team members to understand and document drivers of account performanceCreate and templatize recurring analyses and presentations for global leadershipDocument internal bonus policies and processes through creation of Confluence articlesAssist with various ad hoc projects and analyses relating to compensation and spendOther duties as assignedWHO YOU ARE:2+ years of experience in compensation, revenue, sales support, operations, or related fieldOutstanding communication, customer service, time management and problem-solving skillsExperience creating executive-level presentations and summariesIntermediate to advanced Excel skills are required; experience with SQL or other relational databases a plusKnowledge and experience working in compensation software (Anaplan preferred, but can be learned on the job)Ability to handle sensitive information with keen attention to detail and accuracySelf-motivated and driven; confident when working independently, but a strong team playerStrong interpersonal skills and interest in operations, analytics, or compensationAbility to work in a fast-paced, team environment, and to build strong working relationships within all levels of the organization#LI-SM1Our Compensation and Benefits ( for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $62,300 -$114,300In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
