The position will be based in Beijing.If you are hired as the Legal Counsel, you will have chance to:Identify and resolve complex contract issues requiring in-depth consideration of multiple factors.Contribute to complex multidimensional projects or transactions.Develop new ideas and methods to effectively address recurring legal issues or matters facing multiple client organizations.Interact with regulatory authorities and relevant functional teams on licensing, product quality and other compliance related issues.Provide legal consulting and advise to internal business teams and project stakeholders and to work seamlessly with internal project teams on a large variety of areas including Customer Service (CS), HR, anti-unfair competition, anti-trust, privacy and dispute resolutions. Provide ongoing legal counseling and contract interpretation for senior executives and other business team members, independently with minimal supervisions.Actively contribute to HP's key solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from business projects.We are looking for an individual with the following qualifications:Advanced university degree in law from a leading Chinese or foreign law school.Licensed to practice law in China.Between 5-10 years of legal experience (with several years of experience at a leading global law firm and/or in-house at a major multinational corporation).Subject matter expertise in commercial contracts and ability to draft and negotiate a wide variety of agreements including procurement, sales, collaboration, marketing, and professional services contracts.Solid legal skills and ability to identify and advise on a broad range of contractual and compliance risks, including, liability, indemnification, warranty, termination, privacy & data protection, and intellectual property, CS, HR and dispute resolution.Ability to exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives from a legal perspective to provide solutions to business.Proactive and effective communication skills to communicate well with internal & external stakeholders.Ability to manage a portfolio of multiple deals with limited supervision.Good team player, quick learner, easily adopting to the changing environment and don’t mind taking up challenging tasks from time to time.Can use English as working language.Preferred Qualification:L.L.M from a prestigious international law school or foreign barknowledge of information technologyexperience in advising on labor law related matters #Li-PostJob -LegalSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (China)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
