Enterprise Architect Governance LeadDescription -HP is seeking an Enterprise Architect Governance Lead to help drive our digital transformation efforts. HP’s Enterprise Architecture team is responsible for overall architecture planning and oversight, including the review of technology plans, establishing standards and policies, providing directional input into the enterprise-wide technology plan, and reviewing technology acquisitions. As a member of that team, the Enterprise Architect Governance Lead ensures that enterprise architecture practice aligns with the organization's strategic objectives and supports effective decision-making for business and IT initiatives. Additionally, the Enterprise Architect Governance Lead fosters a collaborative environment, promotes standardization and reuse, reduces redundancy and complexity, and supports agility and innovation across the organization.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Implementing agility-based EA governance to influence and guide project and product strategy formulation, execution, investments, resourcing, and value.Ensuring agility-based governance is underpinned by a community of practice, viable architecture, and voting rights.Guiding decision rights and the required processes, policies, and procedures for the successful execution of investment decisions in support of the business strategy and direction.Ensuring that the agreed-on viewpoints, principles, and standards created during the architecture creation process are realistic, realized and adhered to.Working with senior leaders to define the appropriate governance processes and assurance.Ability to rethink EA governance in the digital business era to avoid impeding speed or creating friction with business partners.Reviewing all incoming architecture artifacts to ensure they are consistent for presentation to the various governance boards (embed CX into governance).Managing and measuring governance compliance and providing associated metrics.Providing governance, risk, and compliance data insights to drive improvement across the EA ecosystem.Establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers at the top of the business, function, geography, or organization.Proactively engaging in strategic business planning where there is IT impact.Communicating strategic IT decisions, plans, and projects to achieve alignment at the top level of the business, function, or geography.Identifying and leveraging opportunities where IT can provide cost-effective, standard solutions to meet the needs of multiple business, function, or geographic business units.Actively participating in IT projects to ensure that business, function, and geography customers are included and that they receive sufficient and timely communications.Promoting best practices found in working with one business, function, or geography to other business units.Identifying the need for new IT processes or identifying significant improvements to major IT processes with the ability to drive development and implementation of either.Acting as a functional manager within an area of expertise but not actively managing other employees as a primary job function.Knowledge and Skills Requirements: Unique mastery of relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories, and techniques.Ability to provide strategic solutions and lead large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization’s long-term goals and objectives.Routinely exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and criteria for achieving objectives.Ability to contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas.Develop strategy and sets functional policy and direction.Capable of providing mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.Exceptional written and verbal skills.Strong relationship management skills.Excellent project management and process development skills.Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 12 years of related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 10 years’ experience.Prior knowledge and experience (10+ years) in either of the following roles:Solution ArchitectureDomain ArchitecturePrior knowledge and experience (4+ years) in the following role:Enterprise ArchitectureCertification Requirements:TOGAF certification is preferable.Job -SoftwareSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -YesEEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
