This is a critical role in the organization with end-to-end ownership of strategic partnerships for the AMS eCommerce business, responsible to drive new and existing strategic partnerships to enable business growth. The individual in this role works directly with HP’s strategic partners to align on marketing initiatives and funding to maximize sales performance and works internally within the AMS HP Online Store cross functional groups to execute them. In addition, the AMS HP Online Store, Alliances Manager interacts directly with HP’s internal WW and regional Alliances teams to negotiate funding allocation and maximize investment to the AMS eCommerce business.Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories and techniques. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.ResponsibilitiesDefine short and long-term alliances strategy for the AMS HP Online Store.Own strategic partner engagement & negotiate rebates and Marketing Development Funds.Lead alliance funds deployment planning & execution within HP cross-functional teams.Drive initiatives within the AMS HP eCommerce business in alignment with partners strategies.Collaborate with Product Managers to determine pricing in support of established alliances.Lead Business Reviews with strategic partners in a regular basis, influence strategy changes.Expand alliances partnerships to maximize HP business performance results.Manage partners alliances requirements, coordinate Proof-of-Execution submittals.Based on a strong knowledge of industry trends influence the direction of the business.Regularly recommend strategic direction opportunities to HP senior management.AMS HP Online Store focal point for HP Corporate Alliances team both WW and regional levels.Produce financial summary reports & drive reconciliation analysis on alliances funds.Contract writing and/or review, align on key contract terms with partners.Identify and drive process improvements to improve workflows and maximize opportunities.Provides mentoring and guidance to less experienced employees & contractors.Education and Experience RequiredCollege degree in Marketing/Business/Technical.Advanced university degree (e.g. MBA) or demonstrable equivalent experience.Project/Program Management experience desirable.Knowledge And SkillsExpertise in the overall PCs industry and technology, including knowledge of PCs component manufactures/brands – CPUs, graphic cards, etc.Highly knowledgeable of PCs products and needs from consumer/commercial customers.Strong analytical thinking and data analysis, solid expertise in Excel and/or Google Sheets.Strong leadership and relationship building skills, effective cross-functional teamwork.Ability to lead work streams and guide/lead less experienced employees & contractors.Strategic thinking and creative mindset, ability to identify new ideas to grow business.Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively negotiate and influence.Experience in communicating to various management levels, including Director & Executive.Ability to create synthetized narratives & content in PowerPoint for business level reviews.Understanding of P&L basic concepts such as Cost of Sales and Operating Expenses.Knowledge of Demand Generation tactics and digital marketing campaigns.eCommerce business background and fundamentals.10 years in product marketing fundamentals.HP Canada is an equal opportunity employer.
