Operation Engineering ManagerDescription -What an Operation Engineering Manager does at HP:Lead a team of Engineers to fulfil Quality and Process optimization and repeatable execution.Responsible for the implementation and management of new or transitioning factories and comprehensive oversight of all operational aspects at the ODM supplier/factory to guarantee a seamless onboarding and setup process for all new or transitioning factories.Review current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement to achieve operational excellence.Provides technical guidance to Site Operation Engineers and ODM in manufacturing and repair.Provide guidance on risk management and mitigate operational risk.Drive cost and cycle time reduction through lean manufacturing and line automation.Ensure flawless execution of the Failure Analysis Corrective Action (FACA) process, thereby guaranteeing a seamless transition to mass production.Working with our contract manufacturing partners to design and layout the production line in collaboration with other x-functional teams.Enhance yield and UPH by leveraging 6-sigma tools in conjunction with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal outcomes and continued success.Feedback-related partners for issue warnings and verify the solution is workable for the factory and continues tracking.Drive a strategic approach to shifting the production process to the left and taking action to enhance end-of-line quality and field performance.Carry out daily and weekly quality reviews with ODM suppliers in order to ensure that their products meet the required standards.Managed periodic audits in ODM suppliers (Process audit and QSA) and drive gaps closure in ODM factories.Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering is required, along with at least 15 years of relevant experience. Candidates with a Master's degree are preferred.Candidates must possess expertise in SMT processes, mechanical assembly processes, and testing, as well as industrial engineering within the electronics manufacturing sector.Candidates are expected to demonstrate a comprehensive grasp of PC product engineering, 6-sigma and Lean Manufacturing. Candidates are preferred to have Design for Excellence (DFx) experience.Candidates can communicate in both Thai and English, and proficiency in Chinese communication is highly preferred.Collaboration, self-motivation, and strong analytical skills are critical attributes for the candidates.Strong leadership skill.#Li-PostJob -EngineeringSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (Thailand)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
