Global Media Investment LeadDescription -About the role: The HP in-house media team is responsible for planning, buying, and maintaining digital media ad campaigns in multiple DSPs, Social, and Search platforms along with direct buys. The Investment Lead will manage an agenda for helping the internal media agency along with the external agency to bring the best value for all our media purchases across the world. This role will also include the ability to help drive global best practices and align where applicable similar approaches in a local country first mindset. Responsibilities: Create and oversee global Media Investment practice for HP’s in-house Media team. Arm markets, regions, and countries across the world with investment plans to get the most out of our media spending. Creating room for creativity, but also best performance. Negotiate and set out global deals with our key media partners across the world, working hand in hand with procurement to drive us the best benefits. Design and best support each market to gain the best benefits. Oversee work related tasks of 3+ direct reports to start. Qualifications: Approximately 10+ years of experience in a media agency/Publisher or similar environment, minimum 2 years people management experience Proven track record of negotiation and investment decision when it comes to media across all Digital and Traditional channels. Relationships with the Media industry, preferably in the tech vertical with a deep knowledge of the B2B space Strong working knowledge of digital advertising workflow, measurement, optimization, and testing methods Excellent written and verbal communication skills including conducting executive level presentations. Demonstrated leadership and ability to inspire collaboration and team work.
