If so, then we are looking for you to take part in an exciting internship opportunity with our team.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Business, Product, UX Design, and technical stakeholders to define and execute research activities that validate software solutions, from concept through creation to delivery.Help our product teams gain a deeper understanding of our customer's needs to help define solutions that solve these problems and deliver an experience that delights our users.Define and execute research to inform and validate the solutions we offer and communicate your findings through empathetic and thoughtful analysis back to the team.Enhance access to research data through the development of a searchable repository that aggregates findings from both internal and external sources.Partner closely with the Product Design Team on scaling UX Research practice by developing programs that help democratize certain research activities.Work with other design teams within HP to socialize these initiatives to enhance cross-functional collaboration and create a more cohesive community across the company.Participate in efforts to research and recommend new tools that are best suited to support our practices and team’s evolving needs.Help identifying and evaluating research vendors to support operations/programs/studies if external support is needed for certain activities.Help define metrics that can be used to measure team performance.Look for opportunities to refine research processes to streamline our workflow and increase efficiencies.Skills and Qualifications:The ideal candidate will:Be comfortable engaging and influencing people at all levels.Challenge the status quo while securing buy-in from stakeholders in a constructive and inspiring manner.Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skillsHave a strong growth mindset with a demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to change.Possess the ability to influence cross-functional teams to affect positive outcomes.Have a results-oriented focus to provide the framework to measure success and drive iterative improvements through the meaningful use of KPIsBe a clear and influential communicator and storyteller, who balances empathy with conviction, gains trust and develops fruitful relationships.Education and Experience Required: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human computer Interaction, Psychology or Human Factors focus (master’s preferred)2+ years practical experience (Applicable University Experience will be considered)Job -SoftwareSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
