Public Sector Field Sales Account Manager – HunterDescription -The Public Sector Field Sales Account Manager – Hunter (FSR) will run their business as if a franchise of HP as they drive sales, develop and share marketing initiatives, collaboration with Partners and extended HP teams/specialists and owns the customer relationship as they hunt new business. A creative and innovative approach will serve the FSR well as the technology industry is always changing and continuous learning and development will be encouraged and supported. The role involves virtual selling and field face-to-face sales in addition to account management and collaborative solution selling.Responsibilities:Owns the account base and plans for set of Public Sector new business accounts and successfully grows and manages the business and drives strategy and executionField Account Manager role includes in-State travel and face to face customer and Partner visits where appropriate approx 40-50% of timeUses extended Teams and Specialists to assist in solution selling to enable meaningful outcomes through technologyResponsible for PC and Print hardware quota and achieving both in a balanced performanceUtilizes internal systems and CRM to forecast business and works with Management to report accurate pipeline management and forecasts to the businessTakes lead in the sales cycle from new business hunting, solution building to pricing to winning and closing the dealCreative approach to the business to ensure we grow, uncover new opportunities and win new businessContinuous learning and development supported and encouragedThought leader within Public Sector Industry and invest time to learn and develop in areas such as cybersecurity, sustainability, innovation and Industry 4.0Acts as a first interface for owned accountsEducation and Experience Required:University or Bachelor's degree preferredExperience in a customer facing role/account management experience preferredExperience in product specialty (computers, printers, technology) a bonusKnowledge and Skills:Solid IT acumen and ability to align with solution sellingOwns the sales cycle from start to finishNegotiation skills and ability to frame the value proposition for the customerUtilizes resources effectively in or order to pursue revenue generating opportunities in the accountsAbility to understand the customer's business issues and translate to HP solutionsPrioritize and drive strategic sales activity on multi-product basis or solution basisOrganizational skills vital and prioritize time management and areas of focus for your businessCompetitive selling skills and creative approach to the businessAcquisition ‘hunting’ and the ability to build lasting relationships and trustSocial selling and ability to promote your brand and the brand of HP through social is keyDesire to continually be learning and developing and growingDon't think you're 100% qualified for this position?
