As part of the Workforce Solutions GBU, the Renew Solutions organization was recently established to expand HP's device renewal capabilities (remanufacturing and refurbishment) and capitalize on the growing global demand for sustainability.As the Director of Operations for HP Renew Solutions, you will have responsibility to build out the global network of external or acquired operations partners with capabilities to remanufacture at the scale to match HP’s global requirements. The position will have end-to-end operational responsibility related to remanufacturing and refurbishment including the strategy on internal vs. external manufacturing, contract negotiations with external partners, manufacturing value add (MVA), physical movement of Renew units, management of working capital, end-of-life management, product quality, excess and obsolescence (E&O), etc. The scope is global as operationally we will need to deliver on flexible manufacturing with multiple locations and operations depending on region/country requirements.  Key Responsibilities:Support HP as a global leader in the services and circular economy.Focused goal to scale global remanufacturing flexibility with best in class cost, quality, and service level.Influence the design, engineering, sales, supply chain, marketing, and financing processes to support circularity.Lead a strong, experienced team of people, including contract manufacturing partners, modeling the HP Way practices of leadership to build a culture of purpose of profitable sustainability with integrity, agility, growth mindset, with a customer-first approach.Design a global operation including manufacturing location selections across PC/Print/Hybrid Solutions, contract partner selections, internal vs. external manufacturing, potential acquisition targets with strategic operational capabilities by region.This position will need to understand government regulations/legislations related to the circular economy and the impacts both short-term and long-term.Own the remanufacturing bill-of-material (BOM), ODM/EMS claims process, and incentives for HP and our partner's operations. Knowledge & Experience15+ years’ experience in hardware operations, with a history of progressive responsibilities.Experience in refurbishment or remanufacturing of electronics/hardware.Extensive knowledge and business acumen in global manufacturing from prototype through end-of-life, and experience with both internal and contract manufacturing.Prior operations experience at scale in the circularity industry with a detailed understanding of hardware manufacturing/remanufacturing across PC, Print, and Hybrid Solutions.Track record of scaling innovation to create value for customers and partners.Prior experience managing global operational budgets.Experience managing remarketing operational activities.Experienced in contract negotiations.Proven ability to lead and influence in a complex, highly matrixed, global company.Experience managing global teams and conducting business internationally; ability to recognize and leverage local cultures and capabilities to drive innovation in thinking and collaboration across diverse team.Executive presence and strong communication skills; ability to influence HP's hardware and services supply chain leadership; ability to build consensus across the organization to make things happen.Track record of building high performance teamsStrong leadership skills – motivating, coaching, supporting teams in a global hybrid environment.Ability to travel globally.Job -Sales OperationsSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
