To deliver this vision, the B2C Ecommerce Technology Solutions Organization is building a world-class global commerce platform team that is responsible for spearheading the vision, strategy and execution of a comprehensive digitized commerce value chain. Position OverviewWe are looking for a Director of B2C Ecommerce Platform Product & Planning with a track record of planning and deploying large and complex digital technology platforms at global scale. In this role, you will define the platform strategy, roadmap and implementation plan to create meaningful commerce capabilities that will exceed customer and operations requirements through the entire lifecycle of their engagement experience. You will cultivate, lead and manage a group of high-performing Platform Product Managers & Planners that will collaborate with the Commercial organization and other business units across HP in translating end user insights into innovative, multi-year implementation plans. You will lead the team through the platform lifecycle – from ideation and concept, through experimentation and analysis and planning. In this role, you will help define the needed processes and KPIs for the business transformation and sustained success with your cross-functional peers. You will also be responsible to champion the value and adoption of the Ecommerce platform throughout HP. This role will work in tight partnership with the Digital Direct product team within the Commercial Organization in identifying high-value opportunities to explore, adopt and use of integrated and innovative end-to-end digital commerce solutions, leveraging existing and new platforms and tools. The scope of the role is global and will report into the Head of the B2C Ecommerce technology solutions organization.ResponsibilitiesDevelop vision, long-term strategy & differentiated, multi-year technology roadmap for the Ecommerce platform, working in partnership with commercial organization and other business units at HPConvert the strategy and strategic initiatives into well-developed objectives and plansLead analysis of strategic objectives from ideation, solutioning, planning to implementation schedulingLead all cross functional teams in product initiative planning sessions across all portfoliosEnsure all objectives and key results across the platform portfolio are defined and enable traceability to planning and executionIdentify and leverage opportunities for emerging technologies and fundamentally different and efficient solutioning of go-to market capabilitiesLead identification and planning of platform currency and optimizations to move the platform to a best-in-class software solutionWork with engineering and design teams to prototype, pilot and curate new platform experiencesCreate the solutions narrative and value propositions for downstream teamsKey partner on HP’s transformation towards a services-oriented target end-state architecture and the associated strategic and operational efforts to drive technology and process changeProvide advice and input into HP’s usage of innovative technologies and support practices to accelerate pan-HP adoption of such tools and platformsExperience12+ years of experience in product management & planningDemonstrated experience with deploying scalable and performant platforms at global scaleDemonstrated success in participating in digital transformation at scale within a large, global matrix organizationStrong business acumen and strategic mindsetStrong understanding of new and emerging platforms and other innovative digital toolsExperience in solutioning complex and challenging business requirements and digitizing complex end-to-end business flows and processesAbility to convert business challenges into clear problem statements and well-articulated solutions to resolve and enable business growthDemonstrated experience and proficiency in agile development methodologiesEffective interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate in an objective manner using fact-based analysis methodsHighly motivated and thrive in an environment where problems are open-endedDeep experience working with cross-functional leaders and their teams.
