US Executive Payroll AnalystDescription -Unique mastery in US Payroll processing, US taxes ( federal and state) expertise and experience handling escalations and top management communication. Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas that will ensure an accurate tax calculation as well as accurate E2E payroll calculation for all the HP top management. Successfully audit Tax calculation for US employees , particularly our US top management. Provides highly innovative solutions to payroll related problems. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect payroll`s long-term goals and payroll objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to the rest of the payroll team members. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and criteria for achieving payroll objectives. Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction for the processes assigned.  Responsibilities: Provides the most complex analysis for payroll calculations or payroll taxes, typically exercising a unique understanding of the HP benefits , policies as well as legal requirements.Responsible of handling all communications with HP executives on payroll mattersResponsible of controls and audits of E2E payroll for executivesDrives Tax calculation’s accuracy among the payroll team, defines and reviews controls that ensure accuracy on the tax calculation.Leads conversations with Payroll accounting on tax related matters until a solution of the queries is completedConsults with payroll leaders to guide and influence long- term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope.Drives process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the payroll process.Represents payroll unit during cross-regional or cross- functional planning processes.Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts.Education and Experience Required: First level university degree with a focus in business, accounting, or economics; advanced degree or payroll certification strongly preferred.Typically, 15+ years of experience as Payroll analyst or payroll related functionsUnique expertise on US taxes and regulationsTypically experienced in a variety of payroll systemsExperienced in top management communication and high level escalations.Knowledge and Skills: Excellent understanding of accounting principles and payroll processes.Excellent understanding of US federal and state taxesExcellent analytical skills.Superior business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).Superior payroll systems knowledge , preferable SAP / ADP GV and WorkdaySuperior communication and influencing skills.Superior teamwork skillsExcellent business acumen.Excellent project management skills.Job -FinanceSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (United States of America)Travel -Relocation -EEO Tagline - HP Inc. is EEO F/M/Protected Veteran/ Individual with Disabilities.
