These messaging services are important digital communication channels for our customers. These channels are used by our customers to provide excellent customer experience and therefore must be best in class. We operate in an open culture and invite questions and feedback from all levels.Key Responsibilities:Design, build and deploy innovative, scalable, highly available solutionsCollaborate closely with team membersProvide technical guidance to architecture and design, while staying open to constructive commentsContinuously provide input to improve processes.Participate in PagerDuty rotation and resolve technical issues promptlyDemonstrate high level curiosity and keep up-to-date on the latest technologiesStrive for excellence in the work they deliverDevelop and maintain surrounding product ecosystem like Continuous Delivery PipelinesParticipate in daily and weekly team meetings, report on progress using tracking systems in placeAdhere to Genesys Code of Business Conduct and EthicsMinimum Requirements:2+ years of software development experiences in Java and/or JavaScriptBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related work experienceExcellent problem solving and critical thinking skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsBe able to work with a remote team via teleconferencing technologiesFamiliarity with NoSQLFamiliarity with messaging systems and proven integration patternsFamiliarity with development and troubleshooting software on LinuxDesirable Skills:Experience with building scalable and highly available microservicesKnowledge in DevOps principles, continuous integration, and cloud deployment best practices.Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS, etc.)Experience in backend development using Nodejs and/or JavaExperience with building HTTP REST-based API, with solid understanding of synchronous and asynchronous request handlingAbout Genesys:Every year, Genesys orchestrates billions of remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
