Your potential is waiting; why are you?Summary:This diverse SRE/DevOps software engineering role is at the cutting edge of DevOps, Observability and Cloud Native architecture and at the intersection of software development, product delivery and building top of the notch observability platform. We are a handful of engineers inventing the tools, techniques and culture to enable our teams to keep up with the demand for our platform.Key Responsibilities:Develop the deployment and production tooling for complete visibility into the software development and delivery pipeline and generate metrics that identify and report on velocity and bottlenecks.Understand credential management requirements for multiple cloud environments from Development, to Stage, to Production; especially credential automation, secret management and ephemeral access.Drive efficiencies in systems and processes: software configuration management, cloud utilization for cost management and capacity planning, security and more.Be proficient in one or more cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, GCP.Participates in code, design, and pipeline reviews.Deployment of monitoring solutions into AWS and Azure regions, development and production environmentsDeveloping a set of alerts and metrics to keep your own services alive and performing wellCollaborating with other SRE team members, working on improving efficiency and reliability of monitoring solutionsDesirable Skills:6+ years of experience in software engineering.Experience working with SDLC tools including Jira, Git, Terraform, etc.Solid experience with at least one of the following languages: Node.js (is a huge plus), Go, Ruby, Python.Ability to rapidly learn new software, frameworks, open source tools and development languages.Operations and administration of open-source monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix are highly desirableExperience in operations and administration of Elasticsearch, Kibana, and log collection tools such as logstash, beats, fluent-bit, fluentd is a big plus Developing pipelines using CICD tools: Github Actions and/or Jenkins is a plusLinux administrationPublic cloud providers: AWS, AzureDockerKubernetesExperience with REST-style web services / APIs.#LI-GR1#LI-Hybrid If a Genesys employee referred you, please use the link they sent you to apply.About Genesys:Every year, Genesys orchestrates billions of remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
