It’s about impact, not location.While Sonos was founded to revolutionize at-home listening, our products are increasingly showing up organically in a wide variety of commercial applications across the globe. The Commercial Sales lead will be responsible for formalizing and executing a go-to-market strategy catered to growing our presence in the Commercial AV category. Internally, you will work closely in partnership with the Professional Leadership Team, Product Management and Product Marketing as well as other key functions throughout the organization to influence our roadmap and strategy for near-term expansion into Light-Commercial and future growth plans. Externally, you will work to establish Sonos brand credibility, build partnerships with key integrators, and expand our dealer and distribution network to help Sonos drive sales via a net new audience in the Commercial space. In your role you will be an integral driver in bringing the Sonos listening experience to more spaces than ever before. What You’ll DoCommercial Strategy - Develop and execute our go-to-market strategy for expanding our presence further into Commercial. Your territory will cover the US and Canada.Revenue Growth - Become one of the fastest growing areas of Sonos by cultivating a net new category adjacent to our historical target audience. Do this by driving awareness, credibility and product adoption within the Commercial space. Sales Enablement - Collaborate cross functionally with key teams such as Marketing, Finance, Product and Operations to create sales programs and tools needed to support your strategy.Relationship Management - Maintain strong partnerships not only with commercial integrators, distributors and audio consultants but also with key external trade and industry partners to help stay ahead of broader industry trends. Communicate key learnings back to relevant stakeholders internally. Act as the primary GTM representation and subject matter expert for all things related to the Commercial space. Product Partnership - You represent a primary connection point between external market feedback and our internal teams representing our Professional business. By collaborating closely you have the ability to influence our product roadmap to maximize impact for our partners and the channel. Data Analysis - Create and maintain sales reports and product analytics that help us identify our biggest opportunities within your space. Effectively communicate the information you collect with company stakeholders at every level. Forecast Guidance - You will be responsible for building a revenue forecast that has joint ownership with our finance and operations counterparts. Your channel forecast will include both sell in and sell thru of product at direct and distribution partners. You will provide real-time channel insights to ensure an accurate plan for each quarter and continuously track and report your progress against company OKRs. What You’ll NeedResearch shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don’t apply for roles if they don’t meet all the criteria. If you don’t have 100% of the skills listed, we strongly encourage you to apply if interested.Basic Qualifications9+ years of B2B sales or business development experience.5+ years of technical Commercial AV sales experience.Experience working closely with the commercial integration firms.Proficiency with audio ecosystems and AVoIP technology.Ability to think strategically, anchoring recommendations and actions in data based analysis.Ability to communicate concepts and plans to senior management clearly and effectively. Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Ability to travel nationally and internationally, approximately 25%+.Preferred QualificationsProgressive outside of the box thinker who can help deliver a Commercial category strategy and roadmap that is uniquely Sonos.Knowledge and experience working with Salesforce to create sales reporting, develop sales pipelines and effectively communicate with your customers to drive sales growth.Self-starter that thrives in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.Experience working with Product or Product Management teams.Familiarity with commonly used tools such as Google Workspace, Tableau, Microstrategy, Salesforce, Portal.io, and D-tools.#LI-RemoteAt Sonos we consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may lead  individual compensation to vary depending on job related qualifications, skills, and experience.  All full time employees are eligible for merit increases, discretionary bonuses, and equity.  Our job postings may span more than one career level and the base pay range may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions.
