Senior Network Modeling Architect

We pioneered a supercharged form of computing loved by the fastest paced computer users in the world - scientists, designers, artists, and gamers. The End to End networking architecture group is looking for a motivated senior network modeling architect to develop a network simulator with the purpose of analyzing and improving the performance of AI and High-Performance Computing workloads. As part of the team, you will solve complex problems and develop innovative software and hardware solutions using the network simulator.What you'll be doing:Develop simulation components to evaluate and analyze micro-architecture and architectural solutions.Analyze and model the communication patterns of key applications.Enhancing our products by collaborating with Chip Design, Firmware, Software and System.Explore innovative ideas to improve our systems performance.What we need to see:MSc/PhDs in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science (or similar), or equivalent experience.5+ years of relevant practical experience.Proficiency in C++ and Python.Experience in development of simulation environments.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proven track record of building consensus within a large organization and lead technical activities.Ways to stand out of the crowd:Background with distributed AI training frameworksExperience with collective communication libraries.Experience with Ethernet/IB technologies.Demonstrated ability to innovate and lead new technologies leading to product impact.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of high technology's most desirable employers.
