We are looking for a technical, user-focused Product Leader to lead the product management team for HPC Software, compilers and libraries. The Director of Product for HPC Software will lead the team gathering requirements, setting product roadmaps and providing go-to-market strategies. They will work with software developers, hardware developers and research scientists to enable an array of applications including AI, weather forecasting, high-energy physics, computational fluid dynamics, materials science, life sciences, astrophysics, mechanical engineering and related fields.HPC Software is essential and highly visible both inside and outside of NVIDIA while HPC and AI are exciting areas to drive strategy! If so, we would love to learn more about you!What You'll Be Doing:Define and Prove – You will gather insight and build market analysis that provides the data to enter or change new markets through a clear value proposition for your productsMarket intelligence – Understand your developers and champion their needs through roadmaps and priority settingBuild and Deliver - Work closely with engineering to set requirements and prioritiesSense and Respond - Engage customers and present at conferencesProduct launches – Define the go-to-market strategy and contribute to the cross-functional implementation of the plan across Marketing, PR, Sales, etcAsset creation – Work with marketing to define positioning that enables the creation of technical content, including blog posts, webinars, developer tutorials, and more to communicate the product value proposition.What We Need To See:Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related engineering field or equivalent experience (Ph.D. or Masters preferred)Experience and familiarity with scientific computing and AI applicationsMeaningful experience in a technical product leadership role at a technology companyAt least 10 years of overall experience delivering software, libraries and SDKsAt least 5 years leading technical or product teamsWorld-class interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to articulate a value proposition to technical and non-technical audiences.Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:Previous experience in the use and/or development of production compilers or math libraries including BLAS, LAPACK, sparse linear algebra, and FFTsExperience designing APIs for end-usersBackground with CUDA or GPU computingThe base salary range is $264,000 - $402,500.
