We are looking for a technologist who has experience in applications used for molecular dynamics, material science, microscopy, and wants to lead the ecosystem enabling customers and developers to make breakthrough discoveries using both traditional or ML/AI-based approaches. This role encompasses working with some of the top science and research institutes worldwide, hence an ideal candidate is someone who has prior experience in such organizations.We call this role developer relations (DevRel). As a DevRel the candidate will be evangelizing for and engaging with developers by attending conferences, coordinating workshops and building a network of influencers. With the ecosystem, lead a bidirectional conversation: identify the problem, learn about the technologies they are using, map Nvidia solutions and make recommendations to the product teams wherever there is a gap.What you'll be doing:Maintain relationships with developers by understanding their use cases and guiding them on how to make the best use of NVIDIA products.Collaborate with NVIDIA engineers, and product marketing teams to make recommendations that drive product adoption.Identify the ISVs and partners addressing the scientific computing and research sites that should be part of the NVIDIA ecosystem.Lead strategic relationships with key opinion leaders at the premier supercomputing and research centers worldwide.Discover high-impact problems NVIDIA can uniquely solve and build new market paradigms.Drive early adoption of new products and support launch and go-to-market activities!Host developer and customer evangelism events: meetups, hackathons, lectures.Speak at relevant scientific, technical, and industry conferences.What we need to see:Degree or equivalent experience in Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, or related engineering field (Ph.D. or Masters preferred).10+ years experience in either Life science or Material science use casesMeaningful experience in a technical leadership role.World-class communication skills with a proven ability to articulate a value proposition to technical and non-technical audiences.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Hands-on experience with applications used for doing molecular dynamics or quantum chemistry simulationBackground in GPUs. Bonus points for scientific software development experience.Understanding of computing proposals and project lifecycles.The base salary range is $216,000 - $333,500.
