This position will lead supplier relationships for Data Center Buildout Construction and Facility Support Services at Colocation Data Centers critical to the success of the company, focusing on delivering optimal solutions, driving cost savings and improving overall commercial terms. The primary concentration of activities for this position will be centered on US operations but will also include support for global sourcing projects as well.What you’ll be doing:Work with the key internal partners (Project Management, Finance and Engineering) to assess opportunities for cost savings/improved contract terms for Data Center Buildout Construction and Facility Support Services.For each spend category in partnership with internal business partners, develop/own a category plan, perform market research to identify viable suppliers and establish a supply base that can scale with NVIDIA’s anticipated growth in data centers.Lead sourcing activities, including RFXs and contract negotiations.Execute sourcing process project management from start to end, including regular status updates to the internal partners.Perform to high ethical standards, with strong quality of work mindset and customer focused delivery model.Finally, you will identify areas for process/toolset improvement and develop/execute strategic plans to increase efficiency and productivity and monitor performance to ensure objectives are being met.What we need to see:Data Center Construction and Facilities related procurement experienceBachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience12+ years of strategic sourcing experience including 2+ years of Leadership in a fast-growing/fast-paced technology companyProven ability to work effectively with various teams to meet demanding project schedules and initiativesStrong analytical and financial acumen (TCO, make vs. buy)Experience in project management, completing RFPs and RFQs and leading negotiation teams for various spend categoriesStrong background with procurement tools and processes (e.g. e-RFx, Reverse Auctions)Strong communication skills giving presentations to senior managementWays to stand out from the crowd:Master’s or other advanced degreeStrong negotiating skillsExperience with Colo and CSP agreements is highly desirable.Detailed knowledge of cooling technology and MEP equipment suppliers for high-density data centersExperience in Data Center Construction and Facilities related procurement in NALA, EMEA and APACWith competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, we are widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
