Join us at the forefront of technological advancement.What you’ll be doing:Design documentation, quick prototyping, code review, build process and test automation while leading the activities, communication and collaboration vital for successful product releases.Deep dive into Android system software stacks which interact with the whole Android platform and NVIDIA DRIVE OS stacks for automotive.As a kernel engineer in team, you will design, develop, and debug functional aspects of Linux kernel internals on top of NVIDIA CPU and GPU technologies.Performance engineering is also a meaningful area where your crucial contribution is encouraged for the best user experiences.What we need to see:In-depth expertise on Linux kernel internals (CPU scheduling, memory management, file systems, I/O systems and virtualization)Proven track record of strong software developmentStrong skills in kernel performance, memory usage and I/O throughputs analysis and improvementHands-on experience on root causing kernel functional issues and panics/stability issuesRich experiences on ARM SoC/x86 kernel development and debuggingExcellent C/C++/Rust and ARM/x86 assembly programming skillsStrong Computer Science fundamentals and problem solving skills5+ years experience in software development teamsBS/MS degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experienceProactive and able to work efficiently across different functional teamsWays to stand out from the crowd:Contribution to Linux kernel open source projectsExperience on Android platform development (especially, Android Automotive)Cross domain knowledge on embedded system software and hardwareExperience in productization of large-scale end user devicesWith competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
