NvStreams enables NVIDIA DRIVE users to develop software frameworks and distributed applications that optimize use of NVIDIA hardware acceleration capabilities, seamlessly port across different NVIDIA powered platforms - from data center to vehicles, and easily scale from a simple deployment to multiple hardware systems. It also maintains strong isolation guarantees and real-time monitoring of all parts of the processing pipeline. We develop NvStreams with a strong focus on automotive quality, safety and security needed for the real-time, highly-available system level components of world-class Autonomous Vehicles. Would you enjoy working to improve the future? We are hiring now for the position of Senior System Software Engineer to focus on NvStreams software APIs designed to support a multitude of continuously evolving and expanding versions and combinations of software products and user applications targeting different markets, SoC and GPU hardware platforms, and hardware acceleration libraries and frameworks. We are building a team that will truly change the world, and we would love for you to join us. We believe you are a dynamic self-starter ready to work with the team and across the organization to deliver safe and secure solutions.What you’ll be doing:Working with NvStreams users and stakeholders, identify and implement NvStreams APIs enhancements to reduce complexity, improve flexibility and developer experience.Design and implement NvStreams API compatibility to allow independent updates of NvStreams Libraries, user applications, hardware acceleration libraries and frameworks on different SoC and dGPU platforms.Collaborate across software and product management teams worldwide to develop scalable NvStreams library delivery flow to various NVIDIA Software Products with different roadmaps and release flows.Define forward-looking improvements in NvStreams with complete ownership of end-to-end implementation complying to automotive safety and security standardsWhat we need to see:BS, MS in CS/CE/EE or related engineering field or equivalent experience10+ years of experienceProficiency in C/C++Experience in building complex systems with multiple threads, CPUs, accelerators and chipsStrong knowledge of Operating Systems: resource management, device drivers, POSIXEffective written and verbal communication skills​Ways to stand out from the crowd:Knowledge of Operating System security: memory  sharing, message communication  Knowledge of Automotive quality standards, ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21434Hands-on experience formal verification methods and tools, such as Ada/SPARK and TLA+Process automation and implementationNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
