Senior Production Planner - Wafers

We are now looking for a Senior Production Planner - Wafers, located at our Corporate Headquarters in Santa Clara, CA.At NVIDIA, our employees are passionate about parallel and visual computing. We need passionate, hard-working, and creative people to help us take on some of these great opportunities.What you'll be doing:You will own production wafer supply commitments for multiple products by planning, scheduling, and monitoring wafers through bump and sortWork closely with the backend planning team as well as the business unit to align on strategies and to close gaps between wafer and chip plansPresent and analyze tradeoffs and influence decisions based on capacity constraints within the fab and downstream in the supply chainReview supply changes and shortages and provide summaries to managementCommunicate priorities and ensure build plans are met by working closely with planning and execution teams in Asia as well as local and overseas foundry partnersWhat we need to see:At least 8+ years of experience in supply chain/operations, preferably with background in semiconductors or wafer/chip planningBA/BS degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Science, or equivalent experienceProficiency in Excel, SAP, advanced planning software/ERP, and other business software applicationsExperience in a fast-paced production environment with various constraintsProven problem solving, analytical and complex modeling skillsAbility to work and communicate with senior executive level staffExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong collaboration and interpersonal skillsWays to stand out from the crowd:Experience working with foundry partners around the worldStrong sense of ownership and attention to detailExcellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrentlyFind creative, out-of-the-box solutions and approaches to complex problemsNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
