NVIDIA's GPU compiler team is responsible for bringing world-class compiler technology to NVIDIA's developer community spanning across multiple domains like Deep Learning/ Machine Learning, High Performance Computing, Graphics and Automotive.NVIDIA is looking to hire a Software Technical Program Manager as a key member of our Compiler Development team. You will be directly responsible for delivering the newest and most up to date compilers to our developers and the success of various product releases. As a multi-functional team leader in a matrixed organization, you are responsible for driving the software development process from the requirement stage, through specification, design, development, validation, and delivery. You will run compiler projects for state of the art GPU technologies, delivering new leading-edge features for both graphical and compute programs, these include industry leading Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence projects.What you'll be doing:Hands on experience driving software development and processesExperience leading multi-functional team members in a matrix organization to deliver projects on timeProficient with Waterfall and Agile project management methodologiesPassionate about details and also an authority at multitaskingExcellent skills at communicating and presenting project detailsAbility to work independently, take-charge and influence with minimal mentorshipWork with partners worldwide across different time zones, geographies and diverse technical disciplines to define work you're doing, report on status, and deliver projects to expectationResponsive and keen on process improvement to improve development efficiency and accountabilityAble to think strategically and tactically and build consensus and collaborative teamwork to make programs successfulValidated ability to think creatively to resolve technical issues and resource conflictsShown history of delivering complex products to customersConsensus and team building skillsWhat we need to see:8+ years in a similar or related role as a technical program managerBachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or related technical degree or equivalent experienceAppropriate multi-tasking on multiple projects with tight deadlinesKnowledge of operating systems, software development standard methodologies, and compilers are highly valued.Excellent Communication and Presentation skills with experience collaborating with multi-functional technical and non-technical team members at all levelsWays to stand out from the crowd:Project Management Professional Certification a plusCompiler experience coupled with CUDA and/or AI knowledge is a plusAble to effectively communicate status to multi-functional teams as well as upper managementCraft and implement new processes for workflow between different teamsNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
