NVIDIA is searching for a highly motivated, creative engineering manager with experience in system software to join the Tegra system-on-chip (SOC) Linux Software organization. As someone who is hardworking and passionate about their work, you will develop and lead a team of highly skilled engineers delivering system software for ARM SoCs that are shipped in all NVIDIA Tegra products.What you'll be doing:Manage and help lead SoC bringup projects with a focus on enabling the core OS software on new platformsHeavily involved with the early modeling and simulation required to produce NVIDIA’s outstanding productsCollaborate across software, hardware and program management to define, plan and deliver on commitments, following all the way through the development process from design, development to chip bringupMultiple opportunities to collaborate and communicate effectively with teams from all around the globeProvide technical leadership and career mentorship to the teamWhat we need to see:BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree or equivalent experience6+ years work experience including 3+ years of leadership experience Familiarity with ARM CPU and SoC system architecture, microprocessor, and microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, memory controllers, DMA, etc.)A lead or management role delivering large scale sophisticated code base from a team along with driving a number of parallel activities to closureHands on technical background; C programming and low-level driver experience using Linux OSExperience with Pre-Silicon Platforms like FPGAs and driving Chip/Board bringup activities.We are widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers, and as a result have some of the most forward-thinking and hardworking people in the world working for us.
