We are looking for an excellent Senior Data Engineer with extensive data engineering experience for our data science platform supporting NVIDIA's cloud platform services. Our data science platform serves as the basis for sophisticated real time data analytics, streaming, data lake and sophisticated ML/AI training with offline/online inferencing for NVIDIA's cloud services.What you’ll be doing:Designing and implementing critical high-performance, large-scale services and librariesBuilding data pipelines for collecting & processing data from multiple data sources: from the point of ingestion to useful insightCreate observability stack for our data science platformCraft and build data ingestion services for handling trillions of events monthlyPartner with our other engineering and business teams to integrate your outstanding innovations and algorithms into our production systemsAutomate everything for measuring, testing, updating, monitoring and alerting the data platformWhat we need to see:Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent experience6+ years of software engineering experienceProficient understanding of distributed computing principlesExpert knowledge with building and operating large scale observability platforms for monitoring and logging (ELK, Promotheus etc)Excellent SW development skills in one or more: Java/Scala/Python/GoExperience with building real time streaming applicationsStrong background on building cloud-native applications, automating deployment, management, scaling, networking with Dockers and Kubernetes etcExcellent interpersonal skills including the ability to identify and communicate data driven insightsWays to stand out from the crowd:Experience with operating large scale distributed systems with strong SLAsNVIDIA is leading the way in groundbreaking developments in Artificial Intelligence, High-Performance Computing and Visualization.
