Sustain Manager, System Product Engineering

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced and innovative Sustain Engineering Manager to join the System Product Engineering (SPE) group. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining all sustain activities as part of the SPE team:  test time reduction (TTR), end-of-life (EOL) support, bug resolution and prioritization, Test infrastructure and HW second source, and engineering change orders (ECOs) support related to SPE’s activities. As a Sustain Engineering Manager, you will work with the entire SPE team and with HW and SW design teams to debug, define and work together on product-sustaining activities. That will enable our company to achieve strategic and tactical business goals.What you'll be doing:Lead the SPE sustaining teams for our mass production network products till the end-of-life stage.Manage multi-disciplinary activities involved in defining, and follow-up other teams according to defined priorities for smooth and scalable manufacturing.Oversee SPE aspects, such as product and test stabilization, test time reduction (TTR), EOL support, bug resolution and prioritization, Test infrastructure and HW second source, and engineering change orders (ECOs) support related to SPE’s activities.Develop, implement, and utilize methodologies and management processes to expedite decision-making to support the above activities.Actively participate in system product engineering discussions, providing feedback, driving quality, and making a positive impact.Lead taskforces for products in Mass production related to quality issues and work with the quality teams for having the risk assessment and to corporate for process, product, and test improvement.What we need to see:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience and at least 8 years of overall professional experience as HW designer, HW qualification, HW failure analysis, or HW testing developer.Knowledge of programming or defining software as an architect or as a product manager.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, emphasizing technical excellence and innovative thinking.Strong presentation and communication skills.Ways to stand out from the crowd: Knowledge of hardware testing and production manufacturing process flowExperience with High volume manufacturing directly or indirectly.Proficiency in C++, Perl, or Python programming.Knowledge of high-speed electrical designs in the networking field.
