In this role you will collaborate with US Silicon Valley team to tackle traffic rule perception for advanced drive assist and autonomous driving systems for both China and Global markets. You will work closely with Deep Learning engineers to deploy real-time models and to generate ground-truth that enables our AI-powered perception software.What you’ll be doing:Design and implement real-time software for vision-based traffic rule understandingCustomize existing algorithms and software for China-specific traffic rules and scenariosProvide local support for China road testing and triaging of AV perception softwareIntegrate and deploy neural networks for semantic understanding of traffic signs, traffic lights and road markingsDevelop efficient offline tools for large-scale data analytics to support the development of learning-based AV perceptionWhat we need to see:Master degree in Engineering with a strong C++ programming background3+ years of experience in a software engineering roleTrack record of shipping software products related to machine vision, computer vision or robotics.Strong analytical skillsWays to stand out from the crowd:Knowledge in computer vision and/or deep learning.Experience in autonomous driving.Experience in writing software for real-time embedded systems with GPU acceleration.Passionate about clean code and good software design.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
