You will be part of a team that shapes the next generation of data center NICs and data processors (DPUs), works closely with hardware architects, SW architects and external customers. We have crafted a team of extraordinary people stretching around the globe, whose mission is to push the frontiers of what is possible today and define the platform of tomorrow.What you’ll be doing:The position will include defining the next generation virtualization stack for NIC and DPU.Architecture and design for device emulation, vDPA, scalable I/O.Enabling programmability to customers by exposing SDKs for the SmartNIC embedded processors.Work closely with customers to understand the needs and pain points.End to end design of the virtualization SW stack from application level to HW interface.Work closely with HW architect in order to define the HW features and SW-HW interface to fit the solution.Research and simulation before HW available.What we need to see:B.Sc., M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.Minimum 5 years of experience in software design and development.Fluent English.Hands-on experience in Linux - drivers and subsystems.Background with emulation frameworks - QEMU, KVM, Hyper-V.Experience with Virtio and vDPA technologies.Can work independently.Strong communication skills, Able to work with customers and partners.Knowledge in RDMA - advantage.
