NVIDIA is looking for a Tax Senior, Compliance, based in our Santa Clara office and reporting to our Finance Corporate Tax organization. This position will be undertaking a blend of Federal and state income tax compliance for a comprehensive income tax experience. Your principal role will be preparing and coordinating completion of the Federal and state income tax returns, which includes calculating the book-tax differences, state apportionment, state adjustments, fixed asset adjustments, estimated tax and extension payments, and return to provision analysis.What you’ll be doing:Review tax returns prepared by the outside service providerLiaise with other departments to gather information for tax return and provision preparationAssist with tax notices inquiries and audits from taxing authoritiesAssist with ongoing system implementationIdentify and assist in implementing process improvementsResearching various tax issues as neededSupport the domestic tax team with ad hoc projectsWhat we need to see:Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience (MA in Taxation or CPA preferred)3+ years of experience in a Big 4 accounting firm and/or tax department of a large multinational corporationHigh proficiency in ExcelKnowledge in finance software such as SAPStrong attention to detailWays to stand out from the crowd:Outgoing, optimistic, a self-starter, positive and dedicatedCuriosity and willingness to tackle matters outside of area of expertiseExcellent communication skillsAlteryx experienceWith highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers!
