As a Networking Software Verification Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the Air simulation platform by verifying that features are delivered with the highest quality in a timely manner. We have crafted a team of outstanding people, whose mission is to push the frontiers of what is possible today and define the platform for the future of data center simulation and design.What you'll be doing:Design and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases using automated flows and methodologies to verify systems.Perform software verification and validation activities, including functional testing, regression testing, and system integration testing.Identify, analyze, and report software defects and work closely with the development team to resolve them.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and give feedback for product design and improvement.Participate in code reviews, contribute to test automation frameworks, and enhance testability and maintainability of the software.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to networking software testing and develop innovative ideas to improve the testing process.What we need to see:BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).2+ years of experience in software verification and testing, preferably in the networking domain.Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Node, etc.) for test automation.Familiarity with test methodologies, automation, tools, and frameworks for software testing.Experience using virtualization technologies like QEMU and Docker.Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and experience with agile development methodologies.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming concepts.Knowledge of Linux networking and understanding of networking concepts and protocols.Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes.Experience with relational databases and SQL.With competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, we are widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
