We are now looking for an experienced Manager of Sales/Use Tax to join the growing Indirect Tax Function.What you’ll be doing: Assist with reconciliation and review of monthly/quarterly/annual sales/use tax returns.Manage new changes in applicable sales/use/gross receipts tax laws and understand how they impact the current business.Support maintenance of indirect tax engine (OneSource), including setting up new product code mappings and running compliance tax reports.Assist with reviewing and approving tax exemption certificates from customers.Manage state tax audits for sales/use/gross receipts tax.Communicate with tax authorities regarding inquiries.Oversee and prepare San Francisco Annual Business Tax return.Provide VAT/GST advisory, with an emphasis on EU/UK/Canadian markets.What we need to see:Possess strong knowledge with performing tax research and providing technical advice on complex sales/use tax/VAT/GST topics at the country, state and local level.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong familiarity with SAP/S4 HANA and OneSource Global Tax engine, including running & creating reports needed for compliance.Bachelor and/or Masters degree in relevant area, including Accounting and/or Tax or equivalent experience.Minimum of 10 overall years of public and private related tax experience required (Big 4 experience is preferred).3+ years of leadership experience.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate to senior leadership.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Experience in the technology sector.Must be a motived self-starter and a quick learner to be successful in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in Finance/Tax related modules within SAP and OneSource Tax Engine.With competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
