The job will be at our company headquarters in Santa Clara, CA.What you'll be doing:Characterizing standard cell libraries for advanced process technologiesDeveloping extraction environments for standard cell characterizationCollaborating with cross functional teams to drive PPA targets and provide guidanceAnalyzing foundry device models & layout dependent effects, track spice to silicon correlationAutomating characterization flows to improve efficiency Validating aging and self-heating effects of device modelsWhat we need to see:B.S or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience5+ years industry experienceAn understanding of transistor device behavior, layout dependent device behavior, aging and self-heating effects on advanced FinFET process nodesStrong background in Standard cell design and layout on advanced process nodesExperience with standard cell timing, power, statistical characterization and modeling. Familiar with advanced variation modeling techniquesStrong experience with gate level spice simulations, variation analysis and parasitic extractions.Experience with industry standard layout/schematic editor, timing characterization and parasitic extraction toolsWe are looking for someone with excellent programming skillsScripting experience with Perl/Python. Layout automation with Cadence Skill is additional advantage.
